Hello Friends, It’s Pastor Daniel here for this week’s lesson. I hope you are doing well and are enjoying this new month. I can’t believe it is November already!! That’s crazy! Didn’t we just celebrate Halloween?! I still feel as if it should be June or July…. But, here we are: leaves on the ground, the sun setting earlier and earlier, and 11 Days until Thanksgiving and 40 Days until Christmas. Time is certainly flying by. So, before time flies away too quickly, I wanted to share with you something that was......

Hello Friends, It’s November! The excitement of Halloween has come and gone as bags of candy linger in hard to reach places, the leaves have changed color and have begun to fall to the ground, the fields have been harvested and look empty and vague, and the cool temperatures entice us to stay in bed longer under several blankets. Change is in the air…. As we get ready to experience a change in the weather and in the season, and as we get ready to celebrate Thanksgiving in a few weeks, it’s......

Hello Friends, For this week’s lesson, I want to share with you a simple but powerful lesson that was given by Ms. Sarah Dart a few weeks ago. I hope you enjoy it! This is what this person shared: “We have had a lot of attention on the Farmers lately. And for good reason: they are cultivating, planting, attending, and harvesting the land God created. And what they harvest is used for many different things that help you, me, and so many others. So, it’s important to recognize the farmers. As a......

Hello Friends! With Halloween approaching fast, I’m sure we are all excited to dress up in our costumes and eat all the candy we can get! What are you dressing up as for Halloween? I originally wanted to go as a donkey since a donkey is the only animal with a cross on its back, but now I think I want to dress up like a pumpkin! I bet you’re thinking that I am going to go as a Jack-o-lantern that has big eyes, a triangle shaped nose, and a mouth filled......

Hello Friends, How are you doing? The other day, I was thinking, how lucky we are to be part of the family of God! Even when we mess up, God still allows us to belong to His family. Even when we don’t listen to our parents or teachers, God still allows us to belong to His family. And even when we argue with Him, God still allows us to belong to His family. How wonderful is that? It’s very wonderful!! A hymn written by Gloria and William Gaither asserts, “I’m so glad......

Hello Friends, Can you believe that it is OFFICIALLY FALL?! Just before 8:00am this morning, Fall arrived at our doorsteps. Pretty soon the leaves will change from their green color to an array of majestic colors like red, yellow, and orange. Pretty soon those leaves will be raked into giant piles all over the yard. Pretty soon people will be walking around wearing sweatshirts and long pants. Pretty soon neighborhoods will be hosting weekend wiener roasts and making s’mores. Pretty soon families will spend their Sunday afternoons watching football on television while......

Hello Friends, Well, I looked out my office window the other day and noticed a few things: the rain drops on my window, a few leaves on the ground, some red leaves dispersed amongst the green leaves in the trees, and a gloomy sky. I don’t know if I should be saying this or not, but I think FALL is closer than we might think. Are you ready? Not only is God’s created nature showing signs of change, but so are our homes and communities. There are Fall decorations on my doors,......

Hello Friends, Today, I simply want to inform you about something that is found outside the church. I bet at some point you have seen it. Some of you may have heard it. And some of you may have rung it before. What am I talking about? Well, I’m talking about the church bell that sits outside on a brick pedestal. I bring awareness to the church bell because recently people of the church came together to paint the bell and give it a “new life,” and it is part of the......
