“Let Me Share My Dream”

Hello Friends,

This past Sunday, a beautiful and wonderful hymn was shared during church, and I thought you all might like to hear it. So, please enjoy the poem “Let Me Share My Dream” by Garnett Ann Schultz

If I can make somebody happy, then let me share my dream.

If it can ease an aching heart and bring a smile supreme.

I wouldn’t want to keep the sunshine that shines within my skies.

I’d rather see it bringing joy and glowing in your eyes.

If I can take away the darkness or wipe away a tear,

Then I will know it’s been worthwhile, the time I’ve lingered here.

I’d like to leave a trace of gladness everywhere I’ve been,

So if it means a smile for someone let me share my dream.

Let me share each tomorrow, little thought they hold.

Someone else may find a rainbow or a pot of gold;

Clouds may overcast the brightness, daytime slowly die.

Let me not be lost and doubtful, always show me why.

If another one should need me, let me hear their call.

Let me never fail my purpose, give me faith in all,

Make it lovely, make it precious, just as it has been…

Take it from this heart that holds it, let me share my dream.

May you not be afraid to share your dream!
