Please set time aside to visit "The Hungarian Uprising - 65th Anniversary" Exhibit in honor of our own Dr. Steven Szigethy the week of Monday, November 8 thru Friday, November 12. The building will be open from 8am thru 1pm or if you would like to come at a later date with a group or club-please call Oblong Public Works Office at 618-592-3122 and set up a specific time. We are located at 202 S. Range. This exhibit will be open to the general public and we, on behalf of Dr. Szigethy & Maria's son Alex, invite you to come to Oblong and go through this wonderful exhibit. Oblong Food Pantry will have food boxes available on Monday, November 15 from 8:30am-10am at the Central United Methodist Church at 112 N. Range in Oblong. If at any time you or someone you know is in need of food, please call Nancy Ping at 618-592-4895. You will be able to have an emergency box made to hold you over until the monthly food distribution.
