Dogwood Prairie UMC 3031 E 1450th Ave, Oblong, ILThis week we will be looking at the Books of Habakkuk and Joel and asking ourselves, "What am I supposed to do with failing crops?" Even when God tells us to not give up (Galatians 6:7-10), something happens in our life where giving up seems like the logical answer. But how do we overcome that? How do we see the good in what has failed?

Oblong High School 700 S Range St., Oblong, ILFriday, Sept. 17th @11:00AM-1:00PM - Pork Burger Drive: The Junior class will be hosting a Pork Burger Drive at the football pavilion. Support the Junior class by eating lunch with them and by providing a financial offering to help support their prom.

Every Third Monday of the Month, volunteers from the community gather to host a food pantry from 8:30AM-10:00AM for individuals in the area. The food pantry is located at Central United Methodist Church in Oblong, IL.
